In 1978 our Founder and CEO started his company, Proforma, with a $200 investment to buy some business cards, stationery, and a phone answering machine.
Muzzillo quickly grew Proforma to several million in sales and was recognized by Inc. Magazine on their list of the Inc. 500 Fastest Growing Companies three years in a row.
In 1986 Muzzillo started franchising the business.
Proforma joined the International Franchise Association (IFA) and served on its Board of Directors for 8 years.
In the mid-1990s Fred DeLuca, the Founder and former CEO of Subway, took a strong interest in Proforma's unique franchising model and made an investment in the company.
Today Proforma has almost 600 franchise offices with sales approaching $700 million.
Over 100 Proforma franchise owners have been recognized by Inc. Magazine in the Inc. 5000 listing of fastest growing businesses.
